Houses in Brussels should be made more energy efficient (and independent especially from gas) by having citizens put solar panels on their buildings and houses. The government should increase the subsidies for solar panels and especially batteries so that citizens can be more independent from external sources of energy. This would also be a way for the country to start transitioning to green solutions. There should also be more research funding to increase the technological efficiency of solar panels.
