The reduction of routes frequency during non-peak hours or bank holidays and the cease of public transportation during after-hours is a valid reason for people to consider buying a car. A commuter that chooses to use public transportation, must be able to commute 24/7 with no obstacles, or else it is not a viable long-term solution for their transportation.
