For mobile citizens having an easy access to public transport is key for them not to take the car. Helsinki-Tallinn-Tartu in Finland and Estonia just put in place such a system to allow citizens crossing the border everyday to have easy access to public transport when they are moving between cities.
That would be very practical for EU workers between Luxembourg- Strasbourg and Brussels !
